Mandy Draper

Mandy Draper was born in Santa Cruz, California and has lived in Santa Cruz County all her life. Every home Mandy ever lived in as a child was built by her father, a local general contractor and designer. The sounds and smells of her father's jobsites - concrete, steel and sawdust - are some of her earliest childhood memories. Eventually Mandy worked alongside her father as a framer for his residential construction company. From these beginnings she developed a lifelong love for homes, architecture, quality construction and real estate.

Her passion for construction would lead her to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering from San Jose State University where she graduated, summa cum laude, in 2009. After completing her studies Mandy went on to enjoy a successful career in construction management for a San Jose-based construction company. She quickly rose to a Project Manager role where she specialized in tenant improvements for prominent Bay Area institutions including Google and Stanford University.

After her daughter was born she took a position at a Santa Cruz-based geotechnical engineering firm so she could explore the design side of engineering and be closer to home. It was during this time that she began to transition into real estate by taking over the property management responsibilities for her family’s thriving real estate business.

Now a top-producing local agent specializing in residential sales, Mandy believes that she has found her true calling. Her passion for her community, and her desire to help her clients succeed is what drives her. She is a dedicated professional who consistently goes above and beyond what anyone would expect in a real estate agent. She knows the area and the market intimately and has the relationships, knowledge and drive needed to achieve the best results for her clients. Her effervescent personality and boundless energy makes the entire process of buying and selling seamless and fun. By the end of a transaction her clients feel that they have received exemplary real estate representation and a life-long friend.

Mandy lives and works in Scotts Valley with her husband and business partner Matt and their two daughters. In her free time she enjoys running (she ran 1,000 miles in 2020!), yoga, attending her childrens’ sporting events, the San Francisco Giants, organic gardening, cooking, reading and travel.
