Marcia Weiss

Marcia Weiss is a 4th generation Portland Oregonian. She and her family have been in the real estate industry for over 50 years. She has participated in city development meetings, architectural planning committees, and environmental negotiations.

After receiving a BA from Occidental College, Marcia moved to New York City. There she sold advertising for Capital Cities trade publications and attended New York School of Interior Design, eventually returning to Portland with her husband and children.

When her twins went away to college, she entered the residential real estate market full time. Marcia now puts the nurturing energy she had, raising four successful children, into guiding her clients through the intricate home buying process. Clients benefit from her negotiation skills, industry knowledge, and calm demeanor.

Continuing to be an active member of the community is important to Marcia. She participates as a board member on several non-profits around Portland and donates a percentage of her commission to local organizations such as 99 Girlfriends, Jewish Federation of Portland, PDX Hillel and Chabad.

Marcia’s knowledge of green building and energy efficiency has earned her the Earth Advantage Certification.
