About Marcie

Marcie Sandalow was destined to be a realtor, though she wouldn’t realize it until (let’s hope) roughly half-way through her life. She comes from a long line of realtors. Her mother owned and operated a popular boutique firm in the Chicago suburbs (Winnetka, IL), and her grandmother was also a realtor. Before delving into real estate, herself, Marcie worked in the marketing world, spending many years at National Geographic fine tuning her direct mail skills.

Marcie has been selling real estate in the Bethesda/Chevy Chase/DC region since 1999, teaming up with Catarina Bannier in 2011. Marcie's prolific blog posts on every minute detail and aspect of Maryland and DC real estate transactions can still be found all over the web. Over the years Marcie has honed her prowess as a savvy marketer, diligent task-master and loyal advocate for both her buyers and sellers. She lives in East Bethesda with her husband, Marc, and has launched two grown sons into the world. She enjoys reading, walking, and longs to travel more when Covid settles down.
