About Margaret

A North Carolina native, Margaret Bowen was born and raised in the Winston-Salem area and grew up vacationing in Brunswick County. She moved permanently to the Southport/Oak Island area with her family in 2001 upon graduating from Salem College with a B.A. in Sociology and Communications. She has over twenty years of real estate sales, investment, and property management experience in the Southport, Oak Island/Caswell Beach, and Boiling Spring Lakes areas and has personally bought, sold, and managed many properties over the years. She was a Top Producer with the Lolley Team at Century 21 from 2002-2009 and has been a top-selling agent with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage since joining the firm in 2013. She also spent several years working in the farming industry and operated a small organic produce farm in Leland, NC.
