Maria Diaz is more than just a Realtor® — she’s a dedicated community leader, proud immigrant, and passionate guide for those chasing the American Dream. Originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, Maria moved to Las Vegas, NV, and then to the Pacific Northwest as a single mother and overcame financial challenges to purchase her first home. That powerful experience inspired her to help others achieve the same sense of stability through real estate.
With over four years of experience as a licensed agent and eight years as a real estate investor, Maria specializes in first-time homebuyers, military families, and investment properties throughout Whidbey Island. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she’s committed to breaking down language and cultural barriers so that all clients feel empowered and informed during the homebuying process.
Maria is also the founder of the Día De Fiesta Hispanic Heritage Festival and serves as the President of Razas Unidas WI, the nonprofit behind the event. Through this work, she advocates for the Hispanic community in Island County, highlighting issues around housing, agriculture, and the environment. She’s also a proud graduate of Leadership Whidbey (2023).
When she’s not helping clients or organizing community events, Maria enjoys hiking, drawing, dancing, music, and spending time with her family — including her beloved German Shepherd, Luna.
