Maria Forman was amazing!  She was very insightful and really helped walk me through the decisions I needed to make to figure out what i want.  She was incredibly patient, and had no problem showing me houses for almost a year until I found my dream home.  When I finally found my dream home, she helped through the negotiation process to get $45K off the price, in the very competitive DC market!

I was buying an older house, and she was incredibly knowledgeable about what problems to look for in older houses, what kind of work and renovations would be needed, and had really cool and creative ideas about how I could remodel the house.  I really felt like I was working a friend, not an agent.  She also had fabulous people she recommended, the loan officer she referred me to got me a 3.3% interest rate on only 5% down and when I went to settle, her settlement agency had located additional information that allowed them to give me a $1K refund, such a nice surprise!  Working with Maria was a fabulous experience, I've already recommended her to so many people!

Responsive. Professional. Smart. Kind. Maria is all of these and more. With her help, we had an offer (above asking) within 72 hours of our investment condo in Northeast DC listing going live and we closed 4 weeks later. Maria did an excellent job preparing us, getting the condo staged and ensuring our two open houses were well attended, but also followed COVID safety protocols.
She knows the market, has a strong network and gets the job done. She was perfect for us. I/we highly recommend Maria!

Put simply, Maria is who you want by your side when purchasing a home. Maria is kind, responsive, and knowledgeable. She was always steps ahead of us and asked questions we had no idea we had to ask. Maria is AMAZING! She not only helped us find a home, she helped us start our lives in the perfect place for our growing family. Maria was always available (even for live video tours when we couldn't look at a home in-person), and gave us smart, strategic advice, and ensured that our purchase would be both an investment and a great home. But most importantly, she never 'sold' us on anything. When a house was wrong, she told us why, when a house had issues we didn't see, she brought them to light. Maria was a complete rockstar agent from start to finish and beyond. She is very knowledgable about local markets and always made sure to address whatever emails or calls we made in a timely manner. Even though COVID-19 threw real estate for a loop right as we began our search, Maria was able to help us navigate the unprecedented uncertainty of home-buying in the middle of a pandemic in a way that made us feel safe.

Having spent time with my partner and I to figure out what we were looking for in a home, she frequently sent us listings that we had missed in our own search that we ended up really liking. Throughout our search, Maria showed us a wide range of properties — she genuinely cared that we found somewhere that both met our goals for a property and truly felt like home to both of us. In discussing the pros and cons of various properties, she was honest, realistic, and patient with our questions. Even after closing, she has gone the extra mile to make sure that we have what we need to settle comfortably into our new home.

Maria is a wonderful agent. My husband and I bought for the first time with Maria's help this past winter. She really spent the time to get to know us and our needs, and practically became family during the process. When the first place we had an offer on didn't inspect well, she was a wonderful support as we navigated our options. She made sure we made the right choice for us, and helped us to understand all of our options while protecting our best interests. Maria is an amazing realtor and an amazing person! Before we even committed to using her, Maria was conducting all sorts of searches, online and out "in the field" to help us weigh the options for a potential move. After going through a bidding war among 6 parties on a house in perfect location, Maria did what most realtors don't -- she spent hours and hours combing prior listings and information and ended up finding a home just around the corner that was off-market, newer, and better for us in numerous ways, and because of her diligence, we were able to win a contract on it before it went to market. On top of all that, Maria is a true pleasure to work with - she is flexible, incredibly friendly, and goes the extra mile in all she does. That was true not just with the search for and purchase of our new home, but with selling our prior one -- Maria spent tons of time and resources in marketing our prior home for sale -- and because of Maria, we received a full price offer after the very first open house!
