Marie is best in the business for getting an accurate price estimate on your home's value. She was amazing when I was considering what updates to do in my home. Having Marie tell me the current value greatly informed me on where to go forward. Even in times of market uncertainty, Marie was always the closest among the realtors to guess where the bank's independent appraiser would put our house at.

Marie Hancock was highly recommended to us by friends when we were struggling with the sell of our first home. We were very apprehensive, very nervous and had trust issues. We were scared that our house would be undervalued and that Marie wouldn’t put in much effort to sell our house at top dollar. She came, brought in experts to consult on staging, repairs. She explained everything up front and there were no hidden surprises. We were her priority and in less time we had offers left ad right above our listed price. She was true to her words, went above and beyond, answered questions at anytime of the day. We were more than happy for the final outcome. I honestly wished I had met Marie prior to talking to other agents. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for an honest, hard working and passionate real estate agent. Her professionalism, trust worth, honesty and most of all positiveness are what makes her unique.

She is the realtor you all want!! Her professionalism, patience, honesty, advocacy, and knowledge are needed when you’re making the decision to buy a home.

Marie helped us make our dream come true. We bought our first home during the pandemic. We were so scared to buy a home and she walked us through the process the entire time. For us, it felt like an impossible task and we didn’t know where to get started. She helped us find a home that was in our budget and has all the non negotiables for us. She never pressured us to buy a home and she made sure to advise us correctly. So many people buy homes maxing out of the loans they’re able to get. Just because you qualify for so much, doesn’t mean you should buy it because there’s so much you need to keep in mind. She worked hard to find us a home that was actually under budget and was perfect for us.

We ended up buying in a town that is hard to buy a home in because they sell very fast due to the good schools and community. We were 6th in line and almost didn’t get the home. There was a bidding and negotiating war. Marie talked to the owners and even negotiated for them to pay insurance and get us other great deals like fixing certain things that they didn’t want to pay for that if we had paid for, it would have left us penniless.

I will always be thankful that Marie was my realtor. It helped that she was multilingual and translated things I didn’t understand. She understood my needs and found me a better home than what I imagined. My quality of life has improved drastically now that I have a home and it is thanks to this amazing realtor.

She went out of her way to help us acquire our home in Iowa City, and we are so incredible thankful for how well she took care off us throughout the hectic process of looking for a house. Whenever we had questions or concerns about the home-owning process she was always quick to provide helpful answers and insights. (And considering we are new home-owners, we had LOTS of questions!) I met Marie on a recommendation and she was amazing throughout my home purchase. This was my first home and I kinda knew what I already wanted in my purchase, but Marie was there to help guide me throughout the entire time and answered any question I had in the meantime.
