About Marion

Marion began her real estate career in 1989 and has since become a prominent agent in the New Canaan area. As the leader of the Marion Filley Team Advantage, Marion is able to share her passion for the business with like-minded team members; one of which is her husband, Patrick.

A Long Island native, Marion attended Finch College in New York City as an Art History major. Upon graduating, she worked for Frank Schoonmaker - an American travel guide writer and wine merchant. Marion has always had a love for travel and adventure, visiting places like Iran, Ethiopia, Myanmar and lots more!

She later became a lobbyist for a non-profit organization appointed by representative Carolyn Maloney and was on the Community Board in East Harlem before making one final career change into real estate.

Marion and Patrick eventually made their move out of New York where they had met at just 18 years old. They settled in Wilton, Connecticut where they raised three daughters and welcomed six grandchildren.

A thirst for knowledge and passion for continued learning and growth values Marion shares with Compass. Her real estate expertise, in tandem with Compass’ top tier technology, allows her to not only meet her clients’ needs but to exceed their expectations.
