Marisa’s journey began in education, earning degrees from St. Mary’s University and Trinity University before dedicating 12 years to serving as a school psychologist for Northeast Independent School District. Her ability to listen, problem-solve, and advocate for others provided a natural transition into real estate, where she quickly built a thriving business based on trust, expertise, and exceptional client service.
Her real estate career took off with remarkable success. She earned "Rookie of the Year" honors at her former brokerage and has been recognized as a Platinum Top 50 Finalist for five consecutive years. In 2025, she was honored as the Platinum Top 50 Executive of the Year, a testament to her leadership, industry expertise, and dedication to excellence. Additionally, she has received both local and national recognition from the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) as a Top Agent.
In 2021, Marisa took on a leadership role as Agent Success Manager at Realty San Antonio, later serving as the Vice President of Sales. In this position, she played a pivotal role in coaching and mentoring agents, helping them scale their businesses while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Under her guidance, Realty San Antonio became a destination for top talent seeking professional growth and success.
Now, as she returns to leading The Jackson Real Estate Group, Marisa is focused on delivering an elite real estate experience for buyers and sellers in San Antonio, Boerne, Wimberley, and throughout the Texas Hill Country.
