About Mark

Mark grew up in the same small town as his wife and business partner, Melinda, and went to Kern Valley High. He has a heart for people, and he has spent his adult life helping and serving others. After high school, Mark started his career on the Rio Bravo Hotshots fire crew, attended the Ventura County Sheriff's Academy, and served for over a decade as a sheriff in both Ventura and Kern Counties. He now serves alongside his wife at Clemmer & Co personally representing property owners, protecting their investments, and managing any issue, big or small. As a retired law-enforcement officer and public servant, Mark looks after his client’s real estate needs and investments as closely as he protected families and the Bakersfield community; it’s a job Mark takes seriously and is honored to do. His years of experience have equipped Mark with skills to patiently and effectively manage communication and mediate between multiple parties.

In his free time Mark loves to get in a game of golf at Seven Oaks, grab a beer after work at Lengthwise, or relax with Melinda in Ojai.
