About Mark

Mark was born into a real estate family and always knew it was the career for him! His father was a homebuilder in Southeast King County and his mother was not only a mortgage broker, but also the founder of a large mortgage company. His wife’s parents were both real estate agents in Federal Way and convinced him to try appraising real estate. He transitioned from an eight-year career building homes to becoming an appraiser for six years and then moved into real estate sales in 1994.

He works with his wife Tanya and together they make up Team DeWitt based out of the John L. Scott Renton office. His years of experience in a variety of aspects of real estate lend itself very well to his current role. Whether it’s providing guidance or offering hands on help, they are solution minded, no matter what the challenge is. They will do whatever it takes to assist their clients in meeting their goals.

Mark primarily works in the city of Renton, but he also helps clients buy and sell in Issaquah, Newcastle, Bellevue, Covington and Auburn. His job is to advise home sellers, buyers, real estate investors, landowners and developers on how to get the highest net return on their real estate investments and he takes that very seriously.

Although he loves his job, Mark also enjoys spending time with his family and whenever he can, especially outdoors. Camping, hiking and fishing are other hobbies of his.
