Mark Lavin is an award-winning Broker | REALTOR® serving Asheville and the Boone/Blowing Rock regions.

A 1991 Graduate of Appalachian State University, Mark earned a BSBA (Management). Following graduation, he served as General Manager of an upscale hotel (with fine-dining restaurant, banquet facilities, lounge and meeting space) for 9 years, honing his customer service and event project management skills.

Mark brings a unique insight to his professional real estate career–In 1997 he became a Licensed General Contractor and built & remodeled many homes, understanding from the ground up, the various stages of homebuilding and the effort involved in creating someone’s dream house. This behind-the-scenes perspective has assisted him over the years when advising his clients on both new construction and resale property.
In 2002 Mark became a Licensed NC Real Estate Broker, combining his portfolio of skills and experience to assist his growing clientele of buyers and sellers.

Mark and his husband Scott reside in Central Asheville’s Montford Historic District and have a part-time home in the Boone/Blowing Rock area. Mark is a member of both MLS’s and enjoys working with clients in each region.
