Mark Walsh has been a leading real estate professional focused on commercial real estate investment sales across all asset classes including shopping centers, multifamily properties, single tenant net leases, office buildings and residential development projects.

With over 25 years of experience in investment sales, Mark has been involved with several significant transactions in the New York metro area and on a national platform. Mark has been a top producer since starting with a boutique investment firm on Long Island and continued that success as a partner at Select Investment Realty Advisors. In 2012, Mark Walsh and John Thomas formed Select Real Equity Advisors, LLC in Huntington, New York with new energy and clear vision to continue to provide the highest level of service to their clients. Mark has received a CoStar Power Broker Award, and helped guide the firm to multiple CoStar Power Broker Awards for leading the Long Island market in commercial real estate sales transactions.

Mark has established many strong client relationships across a broad spectrum of investors including private family partnerships, public REITs and real estate companies and private equity funds. Mark’s advice has been relied upon by clients whether they are looking to invest funds in new acquisitions or strategically divest assets from their portfolio. Mark’s experience across diversified asset classes has resulted in transactions totaling over $250,000,000 with a New York based multifamily REIT, over $150,000,000 with a New York based shopping center REIT, over $170,000,000 with a national retail net lease investor, as well as over $250,000,000 in retail asset sales for a private equity fund. The ability to work across a broad spectrum of asset classes has provided Mark the opportunity to close deals in 20 different states and still be a major force in the Long Island market place.

Mark is a licensed New York State Real Estate Broker and active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and served as a panelist discussing the Long Island real estate market. He is a graduate of the University at Albany and resides on Long Island’s north shore with his wife and four children.
