Before becoming a Realtor in 2005 , I worked in the housing industry as a builder and finish trim carpenter for over 20 years. My construction background is really beneficial to my clients because I know what to look for when it comes to quality. I also specialize in investment property because I can tell you in pretty short order if a home is an easy "fixer", or a "money pit" you want to avoid. Part of my experience comes from moving my family to this beautiful area in 1991. It was my love for the outdoors that originally led me here, along with a desire to instill that same love of the outdoors into my sons. I've always enjoyed working with kids, and have been very involved in serving over 10 years as an adult leader with the Boy Scouts of America.
Growing up with a father in the military, my family was constantly on the move during my childhood. In fact I was never in the same school for more than two years until we finally settled in San Diego where I attended high school and college. I've lived in every part of our great nation, and have traveled the world, but I think N. Idaho is the most beautiful and friendliest place on earth.
When I'm not helping people find that perfect home I enjoy some of my many hobbies which include gourmet cooking and entertaining, gardening, fly fishing, sailing, white water rafting, and exploring as much of this beautiful area as possible on hikes and backpacking trips with my family, friends and the Boy Scouts.
