As a native to Washington State she has a true love for this area. Having grown up on the Eastside, she knew this was where she wanted to raise their three children; enjoying all the things this beautiful area has to offer. She loves enjoying the outdoors with activities that include hiking, cycling and running or walking nearly every day. Her and her husband have been married for many years and love to travel. They downsized from their home in Sammamish to downtown Kirkland, which they absolutely love.
Marlene has over thirty years of customer care and service experience in the Seattle area, dating back to M & M's Quickstop, a grocery store/deli/gas station she opened in Redmond in 1985. Prior to M & M's, Marlene worked with Fred Meyer stores holding a number of positions, including Operations Manager, focusing on merchandising, operations and customer service.
Marlene co-founded Real Time Data in 1993 which became the leading provider of data from vending machines in the country, delivering customized sales, inventory and activity reports. Marlene was responsible for the HR Department at RTD, hiring with an emphasis on the quality of character to achieve her goal of delivering "Customer Delight" to the market RTD served.
Marlene transitioned into property management and real estate several years ago bringing her organizational skills, attention to detail & customer service focus, which has resulted in her being a recognized leader in delivering value for her residential clients.
Through her wide range of life experiences, Marlene has developed an understanding for both the emotional and logical sides of selling & buying a home. Combined with her creativity and commitment to provide all the support necessary to serve her clients, Marlene is able to achieve the "Customer Delight" experience she started years ago.
