Marnie Hendley is absolutely the BEST the Nashville area has to offer. She is attentive to her clients needs and goes above and beyond to satify them. I have personally recommended her to 3 people that I work with who will be looking for homes in the near future. Marnie is a true gem and Nashville is lucky to have her and we were extremely lucky to have found her. She helped us get the home of our dreams.

So even though I still have a condo for sale in Dallas (holla if you want to buy it!), I decided to go ahead and look for a place here. For one, my current apartment has literally no storage and for two, buying is cheaper than renting. Sooo I called up my girl Marnie Hendley at Exit Realty of the South to start looking for houses. I had already told her exactly what I liked - townhouses, particularly upstairs bedroom setups. She also knew I really wanted a garage (after that unfortunate incident where my car was totaled after a tree fell on it, who could blame me?). She also knew I'm not a suburb type girl so no outskirts of town for me! Within days we were set up for a full day of condo and house shopping! We tooled around Sylvan Park, Green Hills, 12 South, and in between looking for just the right place. Even when it was bad it was still fun to see places and imagine what you could do with it! We went three separate times and I finally narrowed it to three townhouses, one of which I had been in love with since the very first day. I mean, I was already surfing the net for sunroom furniture so I knew it. Once I decided to make an offer it turns out someone else was making an offer on the same day. Marnie came over to my house to write the offer, we worked on figuring out the best offer to make - one that wasn't too high but was going to be better than the other one - and walked me through the entire thing. This was all at 6PM at night too so she's not scared to work late hours to get stuff done. Thanks to her smart thinking regarding the offer I ended up with my dream townhouse for a fair price and even managed to work out getting electrical stuff fixed and some gift cards to Lowe's to repair some other minor items. Now I have a townhouse with a 2 car garage, a den and living room, a SUNROOM, 3 bedrooms, and even an attic. Plus let's not forget the party room in the basement!!! I also have a new disco ball as a special closing present from her to add to my apparently growing collection!! I know who will be the first person invited to my first party! If you are looking for a house in Nashville or surrounding areas you should really give Marnie a call. She sells houses all over the area and was even voted BEST OF in the Nashville Scene. Pretty pimp no?

Marnie did a great job finding me a home I love! She helped me through the whole process, and kept me up to date on all the important details I needed to know, and handled the negotiations with the seller's agent getting me a better deal than I knew I could get :)
