Mary Grenet

Mary specializes in farms, land and working equine training facilities. She understands the complexities involved in valuing land and horse farms in Central Kentucky, and she can easily identify what buyers need in a professional equine facility. Mary is a member of the LBAR Top Producers (formerly million-dollar club) and participates in citizen planning committees in Frankfort. She is an experienced advocate for her clients, helping them navigate the listing process and helping families find the perfect new house to call home.

Originally from Maine, Mary and her husband have extensive backgrounds riding and training Saddlebreds and moved to Kentucky to work in the equine industry. Mary grew up showing Saddlebreds in New England and later worked as a nurse at an equine hospital in Lexington. Mary's husband trains horses at a prestigious farm in Versailles and shows Saddlebreds as well.

Mary and Gordon recently sold their home in downtown Versailles and moved to a lake house in Frankfort. They have two daughters - Elizabeth, 11 and MJ, 2. In her free time, you will likely find Mary in her kayak on the lake. She also enjoys camping with her friends and family at Cave Run and other nearby lakes. Mary and her daughter Elizabeth recently completed their first 30-mile paddle on the Kentucky River and they hope to complete another long paddle soon!
