About Mary

Mary grew up just north of Winston-Salem and often visited her grandparents in Ardmore where she biked to nearby parks, walked to the first McDonald's she had ever seen, toured historic sites, and enjoyed sweet treats from Winston-Salem's finest bakeries. She fell in love with this beautiful city, its rich history and all it offers its residents. She and her husband made it their home 22 years ago and raised their two children here where they continue to enjoy the growing city with its vibrant downtown, thriving arts district and excellent parks and greenways. She loves her church family and volunteering in the community with Second Harvest Food Bank and Samaritan Ministries. She also has a passion to increase awareness for live organ donations having donated a kidney herself in 2019.
