Mary and Sam have been wonderful since the very beginning of our home buying process. From our very first meeting, she asked us our needs and gave us so many pointers that we didn’t even know we needed. That is not an exaggeration. She was in on all our meetings with the sellers, etc and made sure only appropriate questions were asked by the sellers and she intercepted and asked questions on our behalf as well because we were so clueless as first time home buyers. She explained everything to us in depth, all the terms, the terminology, Maryland laws etc so we were able to make informed decisions and not signing stuff we didn’t understand. I’ve heard before that one a sell is made, you don’t hear from your realtor anymore because they’ve got their check… nope not Mary, she came for the walkthrough with us, she helped us find movers, and she even came to visit after we moved in and brought us a special house warming gift. She listened to all our needs and met every one of them, we got everything we wanted in our home. Mary is the absolute best and you will not regret having her as your realtor. She’s part of our family now ❤️

I remember meeting Mary about 3.5 years ago after a few months of having our daughter. I remember her knocking on our door and introducing herself to us. At that time, we weren’t interested in looking for a home or selling our home. She respected that and wanted us to do what’s right in our time frame and welcomed us to sign up for listings. Over a year, we kept in touch and some homes began to peek our interest.

We are proud to say after 2 years of searching, and especially during the most craziest times in real estate due to the pandemic, we found what we can finally call “home sweet home.” We sincerely appreciate Mary’s extreme patience and perseverance with us. It was no easy task but she took the time and try to understand what we were looking for and of course made us understand that we can’t have everything but definitely most of everything on our checklist.

We also want to thank Samantha who is on her team for being responsive and on top of things. Definitely couldn’t have done it without you.

Love it or list it – glad I opted for the latter after spending several weeks on the renovation of my home. Mary was exceptional in her marketing strategies, market knowledge, and attention to detail. She was customer-centric, focusing on exceeding the needs of her client. She truly understands how to create customer value with efficiency and effectiveness. The listing was under contract within five days and sold above the listing price. Mary and Samantha, her Executive Assistant, provided exceptional customer service to ensure nothing was left to chance from listing to final settlement. They are also fun to work with and have a great sense of humor!

Mary and her assistant Samantha are phenomenal. I sold a property remotely, and they made it very easy to do. I have never personally met either of them, but they felt like close friends by the time we finished. When you have a question, they respond promptly. They walk you through every step and tell you what to expect. There were absolutely no surprises and my property sold in less than a week. I wish I could give them more stars.

I loved working with Mary and Sam! I was buying my first home on my own and the two made sure I never felt alone. The market was a difficult one, and I started to get disappointed and was starting to believe the right house would never come. I found myself going down the "just buy anything" lane. Mary so delicately swayed me from this, and eventually I found my dream house (checked all the boxes, plus a perk not even on the list!) and my first offer was accepted. We beat out 7 other offers! In this market, to be accepted on our first attempt was a miracle indeed! The team worked diligently to get me to settlement and we closed a little under 30 days from offer. When I got to closing, the team said, "Oh, you're working with Mary, she's a bulldog!" She might be tiny, but she is fierce! I felt I had the best advocate in Mary. As a team, Mary and Sam made sure that I was well guided, my questions were answered and most importantly that I felt safe embarking on a huge new journey! I am very grateful to them both! You will not regret working with this pair!

In a very tough market where it is probably the least pleasant experience being a buyer's agent, Mary and her team were up to the challenge. Mary worked hard for us from the moment that we told her that we were ready to buy. Best real estate team in the DMV area!

My wife and I started working with Mary pre-Covid. After we took time off our house hunt, Mary stayed involved in our search. She sent us market updates, potential homes, and made sure we were comfortable once we started searching again.

Mary sent flyers, knocked on doors in areas we liked, and kept our spirits high during a very tough home search. I have never worked with a real estate team more determined to find us a home than Mary's.

17 months after we began our search, we closed on our home! I would absolutely recommend Mary and her team to anyone in the DMV area. Mary made us feel like family, and we cannot thank her enough!

Mary and her team are amazing!! Mary is so knowledgeable about the market and a bulldog when it comes to getting her clients what they want. She has an expansive network to help answer any questions you may have. We got the sellers to cover closing costs and made it to closing within 45 days, which is unheard of in this market! She stays on top of the lenders and us to make sure everything stayed on track. Mary and Sam are also just a great humans who are a pleasure to work with! I could not recommend Mary and her team enough!

Mary Schroth is absolutely the most AMAZING realtor ever. She came highly recommended from a family member. As overwhelming as selling and buying a home has been for us, Mary and her team have both done a fantastic job with taking care of us. Her professionalism, personality and positivity is off the charts. Her assistant Samantha is amazing, as well. She calls and chats with us every Friday to make sure we do not need anything.
What we mostly appreciate is that she pays attention to detail and it makes our family feel as though we are her only client. She will not allow us to settle on something that we do not want – quick to remind us of the individual list that our family provided her. When selling our home – Her marketing strategies and techniques were great. Her and her team provided us with step-by-step instructions on staging, our home showed extremely well and we sold quicker than we thought. Now that we are searching for a new home, we can tell Mary was not their agent. I would definitely use her services again and recommend her to anyone I know that is looking for a home.

Mary is the best realtor I have ever worked with, and I've worked with a lot. The level of service was exceptional. She was very responsive to our needs, and we always felt like we were her #1 priority. In buying a house, lots of things come up. Questions about a particular house, an inspection, a maintenance item, whatever. Sometimes you just need information, sometimes you need a referral, sometimes you need something to just get done. Mary always got what we needed, quickly. One other thing I need to point out: she was honest, bringing up things about a house that we might not like even when we had not considered those things. Mary was focused on getting up the right house, not just a house. In our case, even when we were on the verge of giving up the search due to lack of suitable inventory, she was still focused on our needs and only our needs.

To work in this crazy housing market you need more than just any agent. You need someone that will constantly go go go when so many decisions are time sensitive. That means your agent needs experience and knowledge to go with the hustle. Mary has seen it all, done it all, and knows the industry. An example of Mary’s personal touch is during our housing inspection (which was time sensitive) - Mary reached out to a contractor in real time in the middle of our home inspection regarding questions our home inspector had with the chimney. Instead of worrying about a huge potential expense, we got instant feedback (it was positive!). That was one of many examples of Mary’s representation that went above and beyond expectations. Add in that buying a house is stressful and it helps when you aren’t guessing because your agent is on top of everything.
