Matt was attentive and really listened as we were searching for an acreage. At no time did we feel rushed to make a decision and he was knowledgeable as we navigated the idea of country living. As buyers, Matt was a gem.

Matt Kirkland came to our attention by watching him sell our neighbor’s house. As first time house sellers in a somewhat uneasy market, there is no one else who could have done a better job in handling the sale of our home. I know how it seems -- hear me out. I called Matt Kirkland asking to see three houses in total, kind of in like with one I'd personally chosen. Within one day, he found me two far better houses, but the second one he'd shown me was the winner and as it turned out i was in way over my head.
I can totally understand wanting to go after something on your own, but if you're a first- time buyer it is a die necessity you give Matt a call, every time I had a question or a concern, he has with me every time. Make the right call, this cat comes sincerely recommended.

We could not be happier with the work Matt did for us while buying our first house! Highly recommend using him as your realtor. Matt guided us and walked us through every step of the way and always made sure we knew all of our options. He was very thorough checking out every house we looked at and always pointed out little things, good, bad, and possible future expenses that we may have overlooked during quick viewings. The house we bought had very old locks on the doors and Matt paid, out of his own pocket, for us to get our locks replaced after closing. Being as we have two daughters, this was a huge gift to us and is greatly appreciated! Just goes to show how much he's willing to go above and beyond for his clients!

If you want someone to help you find your perfect home - I highly recommend working with Matt Kirkland! He will go the extra mile for you - he did for us! He had no commitment to help us with our home hunting - we had no contract or agreement - yet he never stopped trying to help us find the right home.

We had to move to Lincoln, NE from Albuquerque, NM and reviewed the homes listed on Zillow. While many homes had a few qualities on our list of wants, few homes had several of them. Except for one - which had it all. So, I emailed the realtor, Matt Kirkland, and told him that I thought the home he was selling was great. Matt responded that afternoon, and asked what type of home we were looking for. I gave him our list, and to help us in our search he started sending me other homes that also had qualities we were looking for.

Matt has never been pushy, which was very important to me. Here was a salesperson who knew that I really wanted what he was selling - but never once did he harass me with questions like: "Have you decided on this home, yet?"; or "You need to put an offer in right away, because this won't last long!" There was none of that! What a pleasant way to do business - especially from afar!

When Matt sent me information, he let me absorb it at my own pace, but always responded quickly to my questions. I asked the size of the carport at the home I had been watching, as well as the size of the formal living room. He went to the home and took measurements for me - and sent me a video clip of the living room, showing it was getting painted. Soon after I created an account on Zillow, I received a contact message from a local mortgage company. Since I didn't reach out to that company, I didn't know if I could trust the man. I simply asked Matt if he knew the person. He said that he did, and gave him a great review. That was enough for me!

When we were ready to put an offer on a home, we asked Matt to be our realtor. We close on our perfect home next Monday!
