My husband and I are currently renting, and want to expand and own our own home. Matt was recommended by very good friends of ours, and this turned out to be an excellent experience in finding our first home. Matt was always responsive, no matter what time of day I could text/call/email and he would respond quickly and never made me or my husband feel that the questions we were asking weren't important. We could discuss our opinions/thoughts/concerns and Matt would help us understand the process and what we can/cannot do. He made the experience in buying our first home easy, exciting and we ended up finding the perfect home for our family.

Good Afternoon Barbara, Long time no talk J I am not sure if you remember, but quite some time ago (over a year), I asked you for your recommendation for one of your top Agents to help my girlfriend at the time explore the real estate market. You recommended Matt Poole, so my girlfriend (Caryl) and I reached out . We were in the very exploratory stage as Caryl was interested in comparing her current renting situation vs. purchasing a new home. Matt was very informative with us and explained the market and housing industry from a bird’s eye view. Caryl wanted to take her time in making such a decision and Matt was there to answer any questions she had as she digested everything. Later that year (9/8/11), Caryl became my Fiancee, and the focus turned from “her” exploring options to “us” exploring options. Matt began to take us out to look at properties and we were initially thinking we wanted Montgomery County. After looking at different areas, our focus quickly turned to PG County, specifically Bowie, MD. With buying a home being one of the biggest decisions one will make, Caryl and I were admittedly undecisive about the type of home we were looking for (price range, building vs. existing, Short Sale, vs. regular sale etc.). Matt could not have been more patient and helped us work out what we were looking for. Matt quickly was able to see our ultimate vision and guided us to the right type of product where we could envision our future flourishing. Caryl and I found out in a short period of time that the market was extremely aggressive and downright frustrating. Houses had multiple offers and would go under contract before we could even do a walk through. After losing a bid on a house Caryl and I were interested in, our hopes greatly diminished. A week later, Matt reached out and asked if wanted to go out for another round. We had 5 houses on our agenda, 1 of which went under contract while another already had 20 offers on it. Our final house of the day to view was absolutely perfect!! It was actually not one I was interested initially and almost did not want to see it. Caryl and I talked it over and asked Matt to submit an offer on the house. We thankfully were the first offer and Matt was extremely professional with the seller’s agent, that they wanted to work with us regardless of other offers. As a result of Matt’s hard work, negotiation skills, patience and personality, Caryl and I are now happy Homeowners and could not be happier!!!! We are starting to put our touches in the home and we are confident it will be exactly what we envisioned by the time Caryl is my wife 12/8/12 J Thank you again for putting me in GREAT hands and I hope all is well!!!!! My wife and I used Matt Poole to find what we would consider our dream home. We contacted Matt to explore our options as new home owners unfamiliar with the DC Metro area. Matt was extremely patient with us as we were trying to determine what area we wanted to live in. We had several questions about home ownership including renovations and Matt was able to ascertain which houses would require more work than others. When we finally chose the house we wanted to make an offer on, Matt immediately submitted the paperwork, resulting in us being the first offer. This was critical as the market for this area was extremely aggressive. The Sellers agent received several offers after ours, however, Matt's professionalism and diligence caused us to win the bid, ultimately allowing us to reside in a home that we are very proud of and love. We highly recommend Matt as an agent!
