About Matthew

Practically a native Floridian, Matt’s family moved from chilly Syracuse, New York to sunny Naples, Florida in 1977. A proud graduate of Lely High School, Matt went on to further his education at Clemson University. While at Clemson, he studied Graphic Communications and received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1992. After graduation, Matt worked in the Printing Industry as an Estimator/Planner/System Administrator. During his 12 years in the business, he enjoyed living in the Carolinas, Connecticut, Florida, and Virginia. In the Fall of 2004, after moving back to Southwest Florida, Matt decided to change careers and enter the exciting world of Real Estate. Often being around residential/commercial projects growing up (his father was a General Contractor), Matt was always intrigued by architecture and construction.

He figured he could combine both the people/marketing skills he developed while in the Printing business, with his comprehensive knowledge of Southwest Florida, in hopes to become a very competent Realtor® that people would feel comfortable working with. And after several successful years in Real Estate, I guess you could say that it was mission accomplished! Matt prides himself on his diligence and he focuses exclusively on his clients’ goals and best interests. To him, Real Estate is a “relationship business,” not a “transaction business,” and many of his clients often turn into good friends. He sells in all areas of Southwest Florida, while specializing in New Construction, Luxury Lifestyle/Golf communities.

When he is not showing homes to prospective buyers, or helping sellers list their properties, Matt enjoys spending quality family time with his lovely wife Kim (a true native Floridian), and their beautiful daughters Madilyn and Carly. Matt’s hobbies include playing basketball with his Sunday crew, getting out on the golf course whenever possible, and rooting for his beloved Clemson Tigers!
