I'm Matthew Magdziarz, MAI, AI-GRS, Managing Director at Valbridge Property Advisors in Chicago. For more than 25 years, I've helped lenders, attorneys, government agencies, businesses, and property owners understand what their real estate is truly worth, and I'd be glad to help you, too. My work spans roughly ten states and just about every property type you can think of: office and retail, industrial, multi-family and apartments, mixed-use, churches and bank branches, land of every kind, and specialized assets like mines and quarries. I hold the MAI and AI-GRS designations from the Appraisal Institute. I am a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Iowa, with temporary practice permits in many other states. A good part of my practice involves the more complex assignments: eminent domain and partial takings, litigation support, and expert witness testimony in state and federal courts. I've had the privilege of serving clients ranging from the U.S. Department of Justice and GSA to local park districts, municipalities, and financial institutions.
