About Matthew

Matt was born in America. We’ll keep it general like that because his dad was a bad-ass Navy Pilot (including Top Gun) so he moved every three years. Eventually, his family settled in the Dallas area when his dad went to fly for Southwest Airlines. It was here that Matt found a passion for film production, choosing to major in Digital Media while attending college in Arkansas. After college, it was a dream of Matt’s to be a snowboard bum in Colorado. So off he went to live with 12 other guys in a house in Vail. But love got the best of Matt and a girl from Minneapolis was constantly on his mind. A few months later they got married and moved back to the DFW metroplex where Matt started a career in video production. For 15 years, Matt got to work on all kinds of projects. Highlights include The Masters for CBS, documentaries on Guns ’N Roses and Whitney Houston for the Bio Channel. Even a special on Jeff Gordon for TNT. But his absolute favorite was called “The Wandering Golfer”, where the host quit his day job to pursue his passion for golf, exploring public courses across the world. Eventually Matt went to work as the Media & Marketing Coordinator for Mansfield ISD, one of the top-rated school districts in Texas. He also became a part-time realtor and used his video skills to market his new business. He fell in love with real estate and just like the Wandering Golfer, quit his day job to pursue his new found passion at their favorite vacation destination - Pagosa Springs, Colorado.
