About Maureen

Maureen Regele has been a Charlotte resident since moving from her native Chicago-area in 1986 – practically a native!

Maureen graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder with a degree in Psychology then went to graduate school at Northwestern University Medical School and received her degree in Physical Therapy. After working in Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy for a number of years, she met her husband Steve (a Charlotte resident already!), got married, and moved to the warm and friendly South!

When the youngest of their three daughters went to kindergarten (all the girls graduated from MACS, the local Catholic school system), Maureen decided to turn her hobby of looking at for-sale houses into a career in real estate sales. She attended Mingle School of Real Estate and then began working with a fabulous group of season agents in Dilworth at FIRST CHARLOTTE PROPERTIES in 1998.

In 2004 Maureen decided to go out on her own and BON MAISON PROPERTIES was born and has grown to its current happy boutique size! We specialize in complete client care – no home purchase or sale is too large or too small – our goal is merely to help our client achieve their real estate goals!

Maureen is licensed and active in both NC and (upstate) SC and holds the designations of ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) and CRS (Certified Residential Specialist). She belongs to the NC REALTOR Association and the CMLS (Carolinas Multiple Listing Service). and the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce.

In addition to working hard, Maureen loves being with family & friends, volunteering in Welcoming Ministries at St. Matthew Catholic Church (including “Moving On After Moving In” for ladies new to the church and/or community! www.justmoved.org), exploring Charlotte & other exciting cities and towns across the globe, exercise, walking the local greenway trails, hiking, reading, and THE BEACH!
