As first-time homebuyers, we were immediately put at ease when at our first meeting, Maureen carefully reviewed the entire process start to finish, making sure we understood everything we were about to do. She listened to our concerns, and we were able to build a trusting relationship with her where we knew she was looking out for our best interests. Especially after the first few tours, we had a feeling she was getting to know what we were and were not looking for in a house. She reminded us to be patient when inventory was low, and shared her opinions while remaining impartial. We were confident she would help us search high and low until we found a house we loved. We ended up buying a home that we had initially thought wasn't a good match, but Maureen, all-knowing, visited anyway and immediately reached out to us, encouraging us to give it a chance. She was right--the house and the neighborhood were perfect for us. We put an offer on it the next day (almost immediately after listing) and have now been living in our first home for nearly 2 years. We would recommend working with Maureen--she is so knowledgeable about Bergen County, the real estate industry, and the homebuying process. We felt like she was truly a partner in this very new and complex life stage for us, and are so grateful for her work.

I could not have asked for a better experience than the one I had working with Maureen. On a personal level she was very easy to connect with, and was able to significantly reduce the stress of a process that can be overwhelming with her understanding and reassurance. On a professional level she was extremely knowledgeable, easily accessible, and demonstrated great skill in working to sell my home for a price above what I had expected to receive. My wife and I were buying from out of state, and due to the COVID situation, we had to buy 'sight unseen'. Maureen helped us navigate a tight housing supply to find a property that we love. I would like to congratulate and thank Maureen Sgambati for the exceptional work she did selling my Mother's home in Paramus. Additionally, Maureen also found the townhouse in Allendale that my Mom bought and has completely fallen in love with.We cannot stress enough how pleased we were with Maureen's ability to focus on my Mom's concerns, her thoroughness regarding the codes and legalities of the real estate process, her patience from our first meeting to the final closing and her keen knowledge of the local market. Specifically, we instructed Maureen that we were interested in selling the home in Paramus in a "timely" fashion. While we had a number in mind, Maureen suggested a pricing level that would immediately garner interest. The home was listed on a Wednesday and received over 10 offers by Friday afternoon. Ultimately (and much to my surprise), the home sold for roughly $40,000 more than the listing price… and for cash! Most impressively, Maureen told me the day we listed the sale, she was extremely confident that it would sell above the listing price.Maureen is truly deserving of special commendation as she took an otherwise stressful process and created a simple, seamless event. She made my Mother very comfortable and I assure you, went above and beyond what anyone would expect from their agent. Maureen was great to work with! With her help, my fiancé I were able to land our dream house. She goes above and beyond her expected duties, takes a personal interest in her clients, and gives wonderful advice based on her years of experience. I never felt she was trying to "make a sale". She promptly answered all texts, calls, and e-mails and was readily available to show my fiancé and I properties that we were interested in. As first time home-buyers, she understood how important it was for us to find a "forever home" and was extremely patient. It was a pleasure working with her! I recommend her to anyone who is looking to find their perfect home and does not want to settle!
