About Max
Max has been Realtor® at RE/MAX® Realty Associates since 2008. He has a very successful individual real estate practice and is among the area leaders in number of closed transactions on a yearly basis.
Max serves on local committees with the Champaign County Association of Realtors. He chaired the Education Committee for the past several years. Currently Max is on the CCAR Board of Directors and is an elected officer. He is also very active with the Illinois Association of Realtors®. He serves on IAR By-Laws Committee, Public Policy & Government Affairs Involvement Group, the IAR state-wide nominating committee, and is a graduate of the IAR Leadership Development Program.
Max has an extensive background in training and development as a corporate trainer. He spent several years training managers and franchisees in business operations, management programs, and personal development and leadership skills.
Max holds elected office as a three-term member of the Mahomet-Seymour Board of Education. He has served on the Finance Committee and as Board Vice-President. Currently he is President of the School Board.
Max lives in Mahomet Il. He enjoys music and high school/college athletics. His wife, Ellen, is a Nurse/Educator with Advocate Bromen Medical Center in Normal IL. The McCombs have one son, Jon, who is a elementary school teacher in St. Louis, MO
