I’m concentrating my real-estate practice on the lakefront properties and waterfront communities surrounding Rice Lake, Long Lake, the Chetek Chain, the Red Cedar Chain, and the Birchwood area.
Around here, “waterfront” is not one category. A home on Rice Lake is different from a property on Long Lake. The five connected lakes of the Chetek Chain—Prairie, Chetek, Tenmile, Pokegama, and Ojaski—offer a different ownership experience from Red Cedar, Balsam, and Hemlock lakes. The Birchwood area adds its own mix of properties around Red Cedar, Chetac, Birch Lake, and the surrounding smaller waters.
Those differences matter. Buyers need to look beyond the view and understand the usable frontage, shoreline and lake bottom, water depth, elevation, steps to the water, dock access, recreational traffic, privacy, wells, septic systems, outbuildings, seasonal access, and how they genuinely intend to use the property.
Sellers need an agent who can market more than the number of bedrooms. Waterfront buyers want to understand the morning view, evening sun, swimming and boating access, shoreline character, privacy, nearby amenities, and what makes that particular lake property difficult to replace.
My goal is to become the agent people call when they are buying or selling lakefront property across the Rice Lake, Long Lake, Chetek, Red Cedar, and Birchwood markets. I’m building that expertise by studying the individual lakes, touring waterfront inventory, learning the questions that affect ownership, and showing people what living on these waters actually feels like.
