Megan Kavanaugh

In Megan’s 35 years, she has worked in several different careers. She started her journey in customer service at a Jamestown pizza shop where she quickly realized that she LOVES working with people. Talking to them, serving them, comforting them, and helping to put that smile on their faces is such a gratifying feeling! Of course, at the young age of 16, she didn't fully comprehend the honor such a gift was. Her journey in customer service continued when she became a certified nursing assistant (CNA) at Tuolumne County's general hospital. Although this job was physically and mentally demanding, it was equally rewarding. She learned a great amount of patience and compassion while also learning how precious life is. This career path continued for 8 years while she worked at several different hospitals not only in Tuolumne County but in Sonoma County as well. Leaving her hometown was hard but extremely beneficial when it came to personal growth. It was while in Santa Rosa, CA that she came across an opportunity to become a Flight Attendant. Now, to understand the gravity of this decision, you must understand that she was raised in Tuolumne County and had NEVER flown before and had barely left the state of California. Talk about exciting....and scary!! She landed that job and proceeded to fly the friendly skies for 5 years before returning to her beautiful hometown. Although traveling was exciting and rewarding, she always maintained the thought that Tuolumne County is one of the most beautiful places on earth. They have the trees, the mountains, the rivers and lakes, and all that small town charm. Megan is so happy to be back in her hometown sharing the love that she has for it with others.
