About Mel

Melanie (Mel) Gurel's love affair with real estate began nearly 20 years ago. She currently resides in Buffalo Grove with her family. From Lincoln Park to Rogers Park, from Wheeling to Round Lake, and back again – Mel has navigated many markets and property transactions.

With kids currently enrolled at Stevenson High School District 125 (as well as Kildeer Consolidated School District 96), she knows all the amenities available to this special community and the value they bring to new residents. Stevenson High School has an enrollment of over 4,000 students – and each neighborhood and subdivision in its district is as unique as the next. There are also several K-8 districts that span many communities that feed into D125. If you are new to the area, it can be overwhelming!
