About Melanie C

Born in Thousand Oaks, CA, Melanie McLaird was raised by parents who made the world their home. Moving around from the Philippines to Samoa, Singapore, and Hawai’i immersed Melanie in diverse cultures that helped shape her values – specifically her integrity, work ethic, and passion for evoking passion in others.


Melanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and has served our country in the U.S. Army and the Air Force. It’s this experience that she builds on to meticulously manage each detail of a real estate transaction, understand human psychology, and (as former clients have said) be a “shark of a negotiator.”


Prior to becoming a REALTOR®, this self-proclaimed workaholic held a management position spearheading research and development for a marketing company. She caught the buzz of house flipping and quickly realized that she could use her marketing prowess to sell her flips. By speaking directly to her ideal client, Melanie stood out amongst the competition to get her properties sold quickly — and for the price she desired. Melanie then transitioned to sharing her real estate tactics with others by becoming a licensed REALTOR® and quickly became a trusted authority, helping hundreds of families turn their real estate fantasies into realities.
