Melanie Gerchberg specializes in working with sellers, first-time homebuyers, seasoned buyers, and investors looking to grow their portfolio. She attributes her success to hard work and learning from the best mentor, her husband and business partner, Eric, her passion for real estate, and that she loves working with people.
She has been living and working in Philadelphia for nearly her entire life, and knows the neighborhoods, amenities, and features her buyers seek in their next home purchase or what sellers want as the end result of the sale of their home. She’s passionate about all things Philadelphia and enjoys supporting her community through multiple philanthropic causes.
Her career interest in the real estate industry started after giving birth to her son, Lev, in 2019. She saw firsthand the rewarding experience her husband had helping clients with their real estate needs, and she decided to leave her career in non-profit fundraising to join and help grow the Gerchberg Real Estate Team. She officially joined the team in December of 2019 behind the scenes as the Operations Manager, and she then took the full leap to Sales in January of 2021. Before entering real estate, Melanie graduated with a BA in Philosophy from Binghamton University. Her top priority is providing customer service excellence and happiness to each client; she’s been called the “real estate therapist” by multiple clients.
When not meeting prospective clients, Melanie enjoys traveling the world to experience new cultures, being a tourist in her own city, seeing live music, and most of all spending time with her husband, Eric, son, Lev, and dog, Prudence.
