About Melinda

Melinda Martin Bailey, Associate Broker with Seabolt Real Estate, was born in the Hostess City to a family whose Southern roots trace back generations. She graduated with a degree in psychology from the University of Georgia and studied language at the University of Dijon in France. Melinda obtained her real estate license in 1987 and found her place in her father’s company, working in all areas of buying, renovating, leasing, and managing downtown properties.

Melinda’s father carved out a place in local history as one of the pioneers of property renovation in Savannah’s National Historic Landmark District. While keeping a watchful eye on her father’s innovative practices, Melinda gained valuable knowledge that would play an instrumental role in her transition to full time real estate sales in 1997.

A love of distinguished design and luxurious home decorating combined with a firm understanding of what buyers are looking for gives Melinda an edge in preparing her clients’ homes for sale.

Melinda recognizes the purchase or sale of a home is a significant financial decision and a deeply personal experience. She takes pride in assisting her clients in making sound decisions while respecting the emotional aspects.
