About Melissa

My name is Melissa Martin. I’m a wife and mother to two beautiful girls. A little about myself, my hobbies are gardening and kayaking. I love being out in nature and taking the beauty of the world! I’m very much a people person and love to socialize. I belong to CNI (Corry Neighborhood Initiative) and a gardening club in my local town of Corry, Pa. Being involved in the community helps me have the upper hand on the programs our town has to offer! I also love to shop in all the local small shops in our small town. I have been in the Corry area since I was 2 and know a lot of the town and surrounding areas. I grew up on a small hobby farm, having everything from goats to horses to pigs and everything in between!

I graduated with my associate degree in business administration in 2011 from Mercyhurst Corry. I took classes while working third shift at Corry Walmart. I had to learn time management skills juggling work and school schedules while learning the ins and outs of the business.

I worked for four years at Wal-Mart, holding a few different positions. I learned customer service skills and to help them with what they need. I earned an excel expectation on my evaluation for my great customer service. In my last job there, I was an asset protection associate, catching people stealing. It was after I took the job, I realized how much of a people person I am. I much rather help someone than ruin their day!

I am a real estate sales agent for Howard Hanna. I chose to work with Howard Hanna because of all the astounding programs I can offer to my clients. Howard Hanna has 30% of the market in Erie county. I think it would be kind of silly not to work with the best of the best real estate broker there is! I enjoy working with people and love looking at houses. I already have the skills to exceed at this job. I work with time-sensitive contracts and ensure they are filled out correctly. My attention to detail is a must in this line of work. I’m a self-driven individual who will do everything I can do to help you get all your real estate dreams to come true!
