We couldn't have asked for a better realtor! Melissa was extremely responsive and engaged with us every step of the way. We truly felt like she tried to get to know us and our tastes and preferences which are all so important when buying a home - she even remembered little things like the nickname we gave the home we purchased, restaurants we fell in love with in the neighborhood, making sure our dog would love the space! Being first time home-buyers was daunting but Melissa knew everything there is to know and more in terms of buying in this area, the best neighborhoods, the best foodie areas, how close transportation and grocery stores are - everything, and I mean everything! Melissa is awesome! My fiancé and I were lucky enough to get connected with her via Zillow, based on a random search, and we lucked out. I'm what you might call a "high maintenance" home buyer. I've only had experience purchasing one other home and it was over 10 years ago and in a state that does things differently than VA. But Melissa took the time to explain everything to me so I could understand it, she was always calm, professional and available for questions or mild panic attacks. She was not pushy in the slightest and it was always clear she had our best interests in mind. I'd strongly recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell in the DMV.
