Melissa Veasey

North Carolina always has been, and will be, home. I was born and raised in eastern North Carolina, furthered my education and career in the Raleigh-Durham area, and settled down to make a life here in Hendersonville. For over a decade, I was a teacher in both public and private schools; these years taught me flexibility, communication, and a love of working with others. Moving to the Asheville area, I switched gears and managed a local running store, bringing together my passion for distance running and working with others. All of these experiences led me to the realization that I love Western North Carolina, and want to help others make it a home they love, too. Because of my clients' trust, I'm grateful to have been a Monthly Top Performer multiple times for our branch, as well as earning Silver Circle Recognition for my total sales in 2024.

My husband Brad is a graduate of Western North Carolina University, and works as a nurse locally. We have an almost 3-year-old, two dogs, and two cats - it's a busy, wonderful zoo! When not working, we love getting out for walks and hikes, reading (current favorites are The Talisman by Stephen King and V for Vendetta), trying out new restaurants here in Hendersonville, and working on projects around our home.

Real estate is an intensely personal business, with our clients firmly at the heart of what we do. I have been in my clients' shoes as a buyer and seller, whether it was my first home purchase in 2009, or selling my condo in 2016 and moving west, or finding our family's home here in Hendersonville. It's so important to understand the emotional investment that people have with their homes and to help make that love apparent when that property changes hands. My priority is to listen well to what makes "home" to you.
