North Carolina always has been, and will be, home. I was born and raised in eastern North Carolina, furthered my education and career in the Raleigh-Durham area, and settled down to make a life here in Hendersonville. For over a decade, I was a teacher in both public and private schools; these years taught me flexibility, communication, and a love of working with others. Moving to the Asheville area, I switched gears and managed a local running store, bringing together my passion for distance running and working with others. All of these experiences led me to the realization that I love Western North Carolina, and want to help others make it a home they love, too.
My husband Brad is a graduate of Western Carolina and we have been here in Hendersonville. a 3-year-old, two dogs, and two cats - it's a busy, wonderful zoo!
When not working, we love getting out for walks and hikes, reading (current favorites are Atomic Habits and The Outsider by Stephen King), trying out new restaurants here in Hendersonville, and working on projects around our home.
