Mike has an extensive knowledge of the local market. He recommended an asking price which was well above the average for the neighborhood and sold the property in 6 days for virtually the asking price. The process after getting the property under contract had a few bumps but they were remedied in time for the scheduled closing. Overall outstanding experience.

Negotiation skills: Mike was quick to respond to our request concerning properties available in the Bellingham area. We were emailed numerous possibilities and, when one appealed to us, Mike followed through immediately. Because we live in AZ and couldn't view the house personally, Mike offered to check it out. Largely on his observations, we made an offer. Mike negotiated a reasonable price, included some furniture and we signed a contract sight unseen. When I did get to inspect the house it was as Mike had described, in excellent condition. He met with me and the sellers and continued to stay on top of the process .Mike's expertise and willingness to offer local knowledge made this purchase go smoothly.We would definitely work with Mike again!

Mike helped find the perfect house for me. Mike is very knowledgeable of the area and the current real estate market. I was very impressed with his negotiating skills, making sure that all the repairs would be done. I highly recommend Mike Belisle as a realtor. My wife and I are first time home buyers so we didn't know what to expect in buying a house. We were in touch with multiple agents during the process and by far Mike exceeded everything the others were doing. He made the process MUCH easier for us. Michael understood exactly what we were looking for and put together an impressive list of homes to view. We used his expertise in negotiating the agreement to allow us to meet what we wanted to see in terms of down payment and closing costs. He was easy to get ahold of and stayed on top of the process at all times. It was because of Michaels willingness to watch the deal so closely that we have the house we wanted or we would have lost it to other bidders. The reason I'm writing is because I want you to know how pleased we were with Mike's performance in trying to help us get into a new home. He is an amazing realtor and we truly appreciated all of his efforts in trying to make this happen for us, unfortunately things didn't work out with the sale of our house therefore we couldn't purchase a new one. We feel we need to stay put because of the school year fast aproaching. I didn't know Mike before the beginning of this process. I had signed up on your website to look for a house and he had continued to email me. I couldn't get in touch with the listing agent for our house we were selling and really wanted to look at some homes, so I called up Mike. He was very eager to help us, very very responsive to questions and showings. When it came down to the purchase process, he was very knowledgeable, put things in terms we understood, walked us through every step. When we had a hickup in the process with the bank, he quickly got moving on other possibilities. We appreciated his efforts, his attitude, his professionalism and going beyond the call of duty. Mike is great!!!! Buying our first house was a scary and foreign topic to us...but Mike was amazing and made the process simple and painless! He was so helpful in showing us around town and different neighborhoods and styles of houses to really see what we liked and did not like. He was very patient and met with us on our time and answered all of our questions. We had some issues in getting a loan because my boyfriend had just started a new job but he was able to find a local bank that would finance us which was a huge weight off of our back. Once we found our home he was amazing in getting our offer in right away and walking us through the process. We got the house we wanted for the price we wanted because of his help. He knows how to get things done. He made us feel comfortable with the process and he is very trustworthy. He was not pushy and always had our interest at best. My case was a bit different as I answered a letter he had sent out to people in a specific neighborhood looking for a house for the buyer. My experience with Michael was much better than expected. I have heard through friends and family that the whole process of buying a house is pretty stressful. But for me, most all of the steps weren't bad at all. It was great to find out that Michael started the business with getting experience remodeling and fixing houses first. It was great working with Mike. I needed to find a home quickly while living in Mexico. I flew up to look at houses and we found a house the first day. I moved in one month later. Michael took care of everything and it all went smoothly. He is very easy going and wanted to help me find what I was looking for with no pressure to buy something I didn't want. If he didn't know an answer, he followed up on it. The home is in great shape and there are no surprises after moving in. I would highly recommend Mike for purchasing your dream home!
