Michael Berger

Michael E. Berger joined Berger Realty Group, Inc. in August of 1993. Previously, he had been at the law firm of Rudnick & Wolfe in Chicago where he was part of the seventy-person Real Estate Department. His legal practice included all aspects of transactional real estate law including acquisitions, financing and sales of all types of income producing properties.
Since joining Berger Realty Group, Inc., Michael Berger has headed efforts in new acquisitions, refinancing, leasing, legal matters, property management and marketing for Berger Realty Group and First Choice Building and Maintenance LLC, the company's construction division. He has been a speaker at conferences, including the International Council of Shopping Centers Law Conference and The World Presidents Organization.
Mr. Berger is an attorney licensed in both Michigan and Illinois and is also a licensed real estate broker in Michigan. He obtained his law degree from Boston University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan. He attended the Cranbrook School for college preparatory education and served as President of the Cranbrook Alumni Association and on the Board of Governors of Cranbrook Schools from 1998 through 2000. He is currently serving a second term on the Board of Governors of Cranbrook Schools which began in 2007 and serves as Chair of the Finance Committee and Treasurer. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees for Henry Ford Hospital and Health Network since 2004 as well as Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital since 2009. He is a member of Entrepreneurs Organization and serves on the Board of Governors of the United Jewish Foundation of Metropolitan Detroit in the capacity of Treasurer.
