Originally from North Dakota, Michael jumped at the chance to move to Hawaii in 2017 and soon earned his Real Estate license. Becoming a Realtor has only added to the many skills in his repertoire, which includes being a musician, an artist, a teacher and a cook as well as a front-end web developer and a licensed FAA drone operator.
With his background in digital and fine arts, Michael loves to capture stunning video footage of his clients homes, land, and estates to create a special and unique experience for sellers to showcase their properties. Using a drone provides an encompassing vantage point that Michael shapes through photos, videos, 3D tours, and custom websites. This process allows buyers to really get a sense of what living on the Big Island feels like. And through these unique perspectives he also gives a genuine sense of place and a feeling of home.
Outside of sales, you will often find Mike enjoying the outdoors, either gardening, camping or Jeeping. He is passionate about conservation and strives to leave the smallest possible environmental impact. Cooking new dishes with locally sourced ingredients – many from his own yard or local farmers' markets – is also a serious hobby, as well as brewing his own kombucha. With an innate passion to create, making music, paintings, and drawings in his free time is essential to Michael's heart.
