Michael Hirschfeld

As a co-leader of National Retail Tenant Services within the US our practice will spearhead the growth and connectivity of JLL’s Global Cross Border retail practice with our leadership partners in EMEA, APAC, and LATAM. We are currently active with clients, and on projects, in China, KSA, Australia, Greece, Spain and dozens of markets around the globe.

With my focus on the street, urban, and resort markets, and my co-leader Steve Ferris' focus on mall, lifestyle center, shopping center, and outlet tenant representation we have created a dynamic platform for new and existing clients. Our holistic approach to servicing our clients’ requirements makes our platform unique in the retail real estate world.

We are actively growing the group with outbound initiatives for current and new domestic clients around the globe, and within inbound business from our retail real estate colleagues throughout the JLL.

We are now able to offer retailers looking to expand the full scope of services required for a national or international expansion utilizing all the JLL tools and service groups.

I am a graduate of New York University and have been an instructor at the school’s Real Estate Institute. I have spoken on retail real estate issues before the ICSC, Middle Eastern Shopping Center organization, Real Estate Board of New York and the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) as well as other national conferences and symposiums. When I am not working or mentoring, traveling, and exploring the great cities of the world is a passion project. As a former hockey goaltender, I enjoy watching the game!
