Michael Lawton

Michael Lawton has been a familiar face with business and property owners throughout Brea, La Habra, Whittier and North Orange County for over 20 years. He has been active in their Chambers of Commerce and is the former 2008 President of the Brea Chamber of Commerce and a former Board of Director for both the La Habra and Whittier Chambers. He is also an active Board Member of The St. Jude Memorial Foundation.

Michael has been a licensed real estate agent since 1975 and a licensed real estate broker since 1990. He has a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of San Diego.

He is also a designated CCIM member. Less than 1% of commercial real estate professionals in the world hold the CCIM designation. This designation is awarded upon successful completion of graduate level education curriculum plus the institute’s Comprehensive Exam and presentation of a comprehensive qualifying industry experience portfolio. Of the 125,000 commercial real estate practitioners in North America, only about 9,500 currently hold this CCIM designation. Less than 1 percent of commercial real estate professionals in the world hold the CCIM designation. Of the estimated 125,000 commercial real estate practitioners in North America, more than 9,500 currently hold the CCIM designation with only 135 in California.
