About Michael

Michael J. Moran is a professional, dedicated, and highly respected Broker in the greater Boston area. Born into a family of real estate professionals Michael developed a passion for the industry early on, obtaining his license at the age of eighteen. As a Boston native, Michael's understanding of the city and its surrounding neighborhoods is extensive, making him an invaluable asset to each of his clients. Throughout the course of his twenty-eight-year career, his primary focus has been on the Back Bay, Beacon Hill, the South End, Seaport, and Brookline.

He began his career working for his family's company, The Moran Company Realtors from 1989 to 1997. He then joined the team at Hammond Residential where he stayed until 2004, before moving over to Otis & Ahearn Real Estate. Over the course of his career, Michael has been able to grow his business through expert knowledge of the brokerage resale market, where he specializes in luxury new construction and renovation. Personally representing many of Boston's finest condominium developments including the award-winning Residences at Nine Commonwealth Ave., Michael also represented the buyer for the recorded setting highest priced condominium sale in New England to date. Michael prides himself on treating each client with special care, attention, and confidentiality - a practice that has allowed him to build a strong foundation for his business. His hard work and dedication to professionalism have been continuously rewarded through personal referrals, a dedicated base of clientele, and a superb local reputation. Michael's work has also been recognized by his peers. The downtown brokers elected him as the President of the Downtown Council of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board in 1997. In 2004 he was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board. Michael is also active in many local charities.

Today, Michael continues to conduct his business with boundless energy and unwavering commitment to his clients at Gibson Sotheby's International Realty. He is a superb negotiator with a comprehensive understanding of the residential market and is comfortable working in all price ranges.
