About Michael

Rex is committed to helping you buy or sell your home with the highest level of expertise in the local market.

He is a 1966 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School, and his parents were the original owners of the Riverside Estates home they bought in 1960, which they still own today. Like his father, he became a pilot serving in the Air Force after graduating from the Air Force Academy. He later flew with Eastern Airlines, and in 1980 he moved back to the Mt. Vernon area where his wife, Doris and he raised their four children. It is here that he embarked on a second career in real estate, which he has been doing for over 20 years. He has proudly helped many Mt. Vernon and Ft. Hunt residents buy or sell their home, and he continues to do so today. It gives him special pleasure when young adults he used to coach as kids, or childhood friend of his children, look him up years later and ask him to help them buy their first home. The circle of life....

As part of his real estate team, Doris works with him as his office manager, and his sister, Liz as been his Buyer Agent for the last 10 years. Together they will work hard for you through each step of the buying or selling process. They know the Mt. Vernon, Fort Hunt, and Alexandria area well, but they are also familiar with - and have listed and sold many houses in - the larger Northern Virginia area as well.
