About Michael

Mike opened Longwood Residential in 2011 as a new real estate agent. The company’s early years were a whirlwind of learning, and provided a crash-course introduction into the fast-paced world of Greater Boston real estate. Over a decade later - with total sales volume in the hundreds of millions - Longwood Residential has emerged as a fan-favorite boutique office that outperforms much larger operations. As hundreds of five-star reviews attest, buyers and sellers have been thrilled with the company’s expertise and customer-first approach.

Still working as a managing partner with Longwood Residential, Mike assembled The Tinsley Team with several other agents as a dynamic, cooperative group to better serve his clients. He strives to lead this team with support and empathy, and to help each agent unlock their full potential.

Prior to forming Longwood Residential, Michael managed 1330 Boylston Street, a 340,000 square foot urban mixed-use building in Boston's Fenway neighborhood. Michael graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts with a degree in Economics. Michael has completed rigorous continuing education at MIT and received the "Certificate of Commercial Real Estate" from Boston University in 2012.

A Massachusetts native, Mike currently lives in Westwood with his wife, Bianca, with his son and two daughters.
