About Michael
## Michael Watroba, REALTOR®
**A Lifetime of Understanding Homes. Trusted Guidance Since 1999.**
Since becoming a licensed REALTOR® in 1999, I've had the privilege of helping buyers and sellers throughout Central Pennsylvania navigate one of life's most important financial decisions. Whether you're purchasing your first home, moving up, downsizing, investing, or building new, my goal is to provide knowledgeable guidance, honest advice, and a professional experience from our first conversation through closing.
What makes my approach unique is that my understanding of homes began long before I entered real estate. Growing up, I worked after school and on weekends in my father's hardware store, where I learned the value of customer service while becoming familiar with the materials, tools, and products used to build and maintain homes.
During high school, I enrolled in a vocational-technical electrical program and, at age 17, began a co-op position with a custom home builder. Working alongside experienced craftsmen, I gained hands-on experience in virtually every phase of residential construction—from excavation and foundations to framing, masonry, plumbing, electrical systems, and finishing work. After high school, I attended Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, earning an Associate Degree in Electrical Technology while continuing to build homes in Lancaster County as part of my education.
Before entering real estate, I spent nearly 20 years as an electrical technician and maintenance professional, developing strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills while gaining a deep understanding of residential and commercial building systems. I have also built my own home and later served on the development team for a 360-unit senior living condominium community, helping homeowners coordinate the sale of their existing homes while transitioning into newly constructed residences.
These experiences allow me to offer more than market knowledge alone. They provide a practical perspective when evaluating homes, recognizing construction quality, understanding maintenance considerations, and helping clients make informed decisions with confidence.
For more than 25 years, I've been committed to building lasting relationships through integrity, responsive communication, and personal service. I believe buying or selling a home is more than a transaction—it's a major life decision that deserves thoughtful guidance and trusted advice.
If you're looking for a REALTOR® who combines decades of real estate experience with a lifetime of hands-on knowledge about homes, I would welcome the opportunity to help you achieve your real estate goals.
