Michael is a native of this area with Azle as his hometown. As a young man he was involved in sports, band, math team, science club, all while working at the family business, TJ Machine & Tool. As most students were working to understand different math skills, he was already understanding how they fit into real life situations.
In the early 1990’s TJ Machine branched into supporting the energy sector and with that came level after level of growth. Michael experienced firsthand the value of hard work, dedication, the value of a person’s word, and importance of communication.TJ Machine grew into a multimillion-dollar business and was sold in 2014, allowing Michael’s parents to retire and travel. Michael was kept as the division manager under a portfolio of approximately 50 divisions. After just 3 years of service, he was able to consolidate 6 difference commercial locations into one $3.5 million state-of-art facility, before realizing he missed working at a level where he could help people.
Outside of family business, Michael managed to find time for building houses, barndominiums, horse barns, and remodeling older homes. Real Estate has always been a passion and he is eagerly looking forward to finding creative ways to support his clients.
Michael and his beautiful wife, Traci, enjoy ballroom dancing and have competed in several amateur ballroom competitions. He supports his wife, daughter, and granddaughter who all show miniature horses as their hobby. He also enjoys early morning workouts with Camp Gladiator in Azle.
