Mike Harper

After leaving the US Navy in 1996, Mike entered the hospitality industry and quickly worked his way up to purchasing his first franchise restaurant in 2003. His restaurant career led him through multiple transactions as a Principal through 2010, when he finally sold his own start-up concept and exited the business. However, that experience gave Mike a passion for real estate and earned him a very specific skill set that helped catapult him into commercial brokerage. Leveraging his experience while simultaneously focusing on furthering his education, he quickly excelled as a commercial real estate agent because of a strong work ethic that is second nature. Since then, he has completed his AAS Degree and is on track to finish his CCIM designation very soon. His experience includes development, sales, leasing, investments, consultation, and property management, as well as luxury (for owner occupants & investors). In addition to his service for our Country, Mike also served his local community as a full-time firefighter/paramedic, as well as being a regular volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, Austin. He's also currently sitting as the President of the Board of Directors for Municipal Utility District 19E and has also sat on various City and Economic Boards. He is an active BSA Scout Leader and Treasurer for his son's Troop, is involved with his sons' local 4H group as well as both of their PTO's and is an active member in Rotary and the Austin Scottish Rite as a 32° Master Mason.
