With over 30 years of experience in the financial industry, Mike Howell brings unmatched knowledge and insight to every client relationship. As both a licensed financial advisor and a real estate broker, he combines financial acumen with real estate expertise to help individuals, families, and investors make confident, strategic decisions.

A graduate of Ashood/Mellen University in South Korea, Mike has built his career on leadership, education, and service. He is the CEO of Howell & Johnson Property Group and Day Star Property Management, where he leads with a commitment to excellence, integrity, and community impact.

Mike previously served as the Team Leader, Investor, and Founder of one of the largest real estate firms in the Smoky Mountains, where his leadership helped shape one of the region’s most successful real estate organizations.

He holds multiple professional designations, including GRI, CIPS, e-Pro, ABR, MRP, C2EX, PSA, CRB, SRES, and CREN, reflecting his dedication to professional development and superior client service. In addition, Mike is a Licensed & Certified State Instructor for Real Estate in Tennessee, where he enjoys mentoring and developing future industry leaders.

As a Commercial Agent Broker and John Maxwell Certified Coach and Speaker (2021), Mike continues to inspire others through leadership training and personal growth coaching.

A proud 11-year Disabled Army / Tennessee National Guard Veteran, Mike’s values of service, honor, and perseverance are the foundation of his business philosophy. In recognition of his leadership and service, he was named a Kentucky Colonel in 1996, the highest title of honor awarded by the Governor of Kentucky.
