Mike Patakas

Mike and his wife and business partner Maria joined Desert Sotheby’s International Realty to be a part of the luxury firm’s vision for the markets they serve in the Coachella Valley. Desert Sotheby’s International Realty’s growth in the desert region will be greatly enhanced by Mike’s experience, his expertise in helping buyers find their perfect home, and his track record of sales and exemplary client testimonials. Properties represented by Mike and Maria have been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Variety, Architectural Digest, Behind the Gates, and several other online and print national publications. Starting in mortgage finance sales and then working as a Sales Manager for seven years, Mike has been in the Real Estate industry since 1999 and provides a diverse background of experiences to his clientele. He and Maria have resided in the desert since 2011, and are active within the community. Outside of work, Mike enjoys hiking, reading, cooking, working out, trying new restaurants, socializing with friends, and spending time with Maria and their pets, two dogs named Charlee and Penny and a cat named Lola.
