About Mike

As a fourth generation Newporter, Mike developed an early love for this coastal community, from spending childhood summers on the beach to working as Assistant Harbormaster for the City of Newport as a teenager. He attended the University of Rhode Island and upon graduation began his career in the yachting industry, managing Newport Harbor's Goat Island Marina for a number of years. It was an easy transition into real estate for Mike, having been surrounded by the wealth of community history both on and off the harbor. Now a successful agent at Gustave White Sotheby's International Realty, Mike has helped clients in a multitude of areas, price ranges, and criteria—from a multi-million dollar estate on Ocean Drive to a one-bedroom pied-à-terre condominium.

'What I really enjoy about my job is seeing a property inside and out, learning its history, and really getting to know the client through the process of buying or selling. The excitement of a new homeowner, the pride in seeing a renovation from start to finish, or my tenacity in a negotiation: these are things that thrill me while navigating a client through their real estate endeavor, one property at a time.'

Owning investment properties throughout Newport County, Mike also has a wealth of experience, contacts, and resources when it comes to building, renovating, or managing real estate in the local market. With a move to Portsmouth, Mike can now be found all over Aquidneck Island in his spare time–coaching his son's basketball team for the Portsmouth Youth Basketball league, jogging the Cliff Walk, or surfing Newport's beautiful coastline. He is also an active fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and holds an annual fishing tournament each year in support of his son.

Now residing in Portsmouth, he is a proud husband to his beautiful wife Remy and father to three wonderful boys.
